Attain a complete understanding of the Criminal Case Management system and additional Judiciary applications to develop from business/system requirements.
Develop and/or receive program specification requirements and deliver new or modified programs accordingly.
Perform analysis, design, coding, and component assembly testing for all application code owned by the Application Team.
Engage in maintenance activities, including production support, and enhancement development work.
Successfully unit test all work and participate in system testing of programs with users.
Develop supportive documentation for all deliverables.
Participate in usability testing alongside users to ensure system functionality meets business needs.
12+ years of experience as a developer with strong proficiency in mainframe environments.
Current hands-on experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs written in COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
Strong experience with IBM OS/JCL (MVS) and IBM/DB2.
Expertise in coding complex DB2 Stored Procedures.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with CICS programming.
Experience with APPC/LU 6.2 or MQ Programming in COBOL-CICS.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both written and orally with technical and non-technical personnel
