Description

Develop, maintain, and test application code for the Criminal Case Management system and related applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and perform component and assembly testing for owned application code.
• Maintain existing systems through production support, enhancements, and new development.
• Collaborate with the IT Office and business units to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Deliver new or modified programs, perform unit testing, and create comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in usability testing with users to ensure system requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• 8+ years of experience with IBM OS/JCL (MVS).
• 8+ years of experience coding complex DB2 Stored Procedures.
• 8+ years of experience extracting business logic from programs and documenting business rules.
• 8+ years of experience in usability testing and user-led system testing.
• Experience with APPC/LU 6.2 or MQ Programming in COBOL/CICS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience with IDMS/DC to CICS conversions.
• 8+ years of experience with IDMS to DB2 conversions.
