Description
You will develop and maintain mainframe applications, focusing on PL/1, COBOL, and embedded SQL with DB2.
Responsibilities
- Develop PL/1 programs with embedded SQL DB2.
- Write and optimize embedded DB2 SQL statements.
- Build and manage batch technology using JCL.
- Maintain and optimize existing mainframe applications.
Required Skills
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technology.
- Proficiency in PL/1 and COBOL.
- Strong experience with DB2 and embedded SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Job Control Language (JCL).
- Experience in batch processing.
- Degree in BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MSc, or MCA.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Endeavor, File-Aid/Manager, or HP Demand.
- Exposure to Insurance or Banking domains.
