Description

You will develop and maintain batch technology applications on mainframe systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop PL/I programs with embedded SQL DB2.
• Write and optimize embedded DB2 SQL queries.
• Create and manage batch processes using JCL.
• Maintain and optimize existing mainframe codebases.
• Implement efficient batch processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technology.
• Proficiency in COBOL or PL/I.
• Strong experience with DB2 and embedded SQL.
• Expertise in writing JCL for batch processing.
• Ability to develop optimized PL/I and DB2 programs.
• Degree in BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MSc, or MCA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Endeavor, File-Aid/Manager, or HP Demand.
• Exposure to Insurance or Banking domains.
