Mainframe Developer

You will develop, support, and maintain complex project modules within a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project modules while managing maintenance requests and small enhancements.
• Interface with client managers, SMEs, business partners, and QA teams to align technical delivery.
• Coordinate with offshore teams by collecting and transmitting detailed requirements following SME discussions.
• Provide daily status reports during development and weekly status reporting to the customer.
• Plan and review maintenance tasks to ensure stability and performance.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Experience with JCL.
• Strong knowledge of DB2.
• Deep understanding of DB2 stored procedure concepts.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe tools including Expeditor, Changeman, and SOAtest.
• Ability to manage requirements gathering and technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
