Description

You will lead the migration of data from mainframe environments to new target systems. You own the extraction of high-volume data and the automation of production jobs. You coordinate with capacity and command center teams to minimize operational impact. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective migration and assist in setting up systems for future data recall. You connect direct nodes to new or alternative target environments and manage large volumes of PII.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with CICS, JCL, and Mainframe Batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with OPC scheduling.
• Knowledge of RACF.
• Experience handling REXX, Syncword, and binary data from onload.
• Ability to manage and work with large volumes of PII.
• Competency in Windows environments, including MS Office, Teams, and Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with AWS or Cloud environments.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud storage landing zones.
