Description

Manage mainframe development and production support within a Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business-raised issues to identify root causes and provide findings for development fixes.
• Drive communication with business stakeholders and technical teams during major incidents.
• Monitor system alerts and respond to production issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project teams, PMOs, and technical stakeholders through to deployment.
• Provide batch support and manage scheduling tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL.
• Experience with DB2.
• Hands-on work with VSAM.
• Direct experience in production support.
• Exposure to CICS and mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience using OPC scheduler.
• Ability to perform complex analytical and problem-solving tasks.
