Description

You will lead the migration of data from mainframe environments to new target systems, owning extraction and automation of production jobs.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migration from mainframe to target systems.
• Automate processes to run as production jobs.
• Connect direct nodes to new or alternative target environments.
• Coordinate with capacity and command center teams to minimize operational impact.
• Assist in setting up new systems for future data recall.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with CICS, JCL, and Mainframe Batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with OPC scheduling.
• Knowledge of RACF.
• Experience handling REXX, Syncword, and binary data from onload.
• Ability to manage and work with large volumes of PII.
• Competency in Windows environments, including MS Office, Teams, and Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with AWS or Cloud environments.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud storage landing zones.
