Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL and JCL code to meet business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and application code by interfacing with business and IT teams.
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate application changes.
• Participate in production support and pager duty rotation, including off-hour coverage.
• Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts for application components.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding.
• Proficiency in COBOL (CICS) and JCL.
• Experience with CA7 and DB2 or SQL.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and business support items.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize business impact.
• Experience with application support tasks, including security reviews and maintenance.
