Description

You will develop and maintain solutions within a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions using COBOL and JCL.
• Maintain and utilize mainframe software components including CICS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Analyze complex technical problems and communicate findings clearly.
• Ensure the stability and performance of mainframe systems.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of hands-on development experience with COBOL and JCL.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2 (with related utilities), VSAM, and JCL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Core Java, Python, Perl, or Scala (required or advantageous).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional scripting languages beyond the primary stack.
