Description

You will develop and support scalable mainframe application solutions within a structured SDLC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive teams to implement and support mainframe application solutions.
• Develop, automate, and support applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and MQ-Series.
• Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning to reduce I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs.
• Manage file formats, version control, debugging, unit testing, and job scheduling.

Required Skills

• 11-16 years of relevant experience in mainframe application development.
• 7+ years of application development experience, ideally within Financial Services or Wealth Management.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and MQ-Series.
• Proficiency with Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector for performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, Abend-AID, and Control-M.
• Strong understanding of structured SDLC processes, including analysis, design, testing, and production implementation.
• Solid knowledge of QA procedures, guidelines, and controls.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of MQ.
