You will provide systems and business support for a global mainframe technology stack to ensure high availability and client satisfaction.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support critical mainframe environments and maintain collaborative relationships with global technology and support organizations.
• Debug and reproduce complex issues within lower pre-production environments.
• Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning to reduce I/Os, CPU Time, MSU, and MIPs.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications and subsystems.
• Apply a methodical approach to problem resolution, design, and solutioning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, and VSAM files.
• Experience with Easytrieve, File-AID, and Endeavor.
• Expertise in debugging and unit testing using Intertest and Abend-AID.
• Experience with job scheduling using Control-M.
• Proficiency in performance tuning using Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector.
• Ability to navigate Oracle database environments for triage purposes.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ETL, Informatica, Java, or Python.
• Business knowledge of Stock Plan Services (SPS).
