Description

The engineer will develop and support batch and CICS applications, perform system and unit testing, troubleshoot and tune mainframe applications, and work with tools such as Endevor, Control-M, File-AID, Intertest, and Abend-AID. Experience with Java, web services, SQL, Git, and Python is beneficial. The ideal candidate has deep mainframe development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the communication ability to work with business and technical teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Must Have:

• 5+ years Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing mainframe application development, test automation, and support, using:
  • COBOL
  • CICS
  • DB2
  • JCL
  • VSAM 
  • SYNC SORT
  • MQ-Series
