Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications on the IBM z/OS platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize enterprise COBOL programs within the z/OS environment.
• Design and implement CICS transaction processing systems.
• Manage DB2 database interactions and embedded SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing and job control.
• Tune application performance using tools like Xpediter, InterTest, and File-AID.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe development.
• Deep expertise in Enterprise COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS operating system and batch processing workflows.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging mainframe applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQ Series or z/OS Connect.
