Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and modernization of critical enterprise mainframe applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-volume production systems using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Integrate legacy mainframe applications with modern Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and AWS solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and support both batch and online processing environments.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to bridge legacy systems with cloud-native architectures.
• Produce technical documentation and mentor peers through knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of enterprise mainframe development experience.
• Deep expertise in COBOL and DB2.
• Proficiency with JCL, CICS, VSAM, and Syncsort.
• Experience integrating REST APIs using XML/JSON.
• Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong technical communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
