Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications within a large corporate environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications to ensure operational stability.
• Debug and maintain code across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Implement CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices using agile methodologies.
• Manage database querying and application integration within mainframe systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Hands-on experience with IBM-Z/OS COBOL.
• Proficiency in CICS, IMS DB/DC, and DB2.
• Experience with VSAM and JCL.
• Working knowledge of CA7, Changeman/Endevor, and IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and agile methodologies.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS, cloud technologies, and Java.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and banking or credit card domains.
