Description

You will develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications for banking systems.

8+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience required. Any Graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Manage high-performance data and transaction processing using IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Build and support online applications via CICS.
• Create and maintain JCL scripts for batch job scheduling and execution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the z/OS operating system.
• Expertise in IMS database technologies, specifically IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Extensive experience with CICS for transaction processing.
• Advanced skills in Job Control Language (JCL).
• Understanding of mainframe system administration, including dataset management and security protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Endevor, File-AID, or Xpediter.
• Prior experience in financial services or banking applications.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies.
