You will design, develop, and maintain complex banking applications to improve operational efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document architecture for banking applications while adhering to specific design constraints.
• Write secure, high-quality code that integrates with existing subsystems.
• Deconstruct complex business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into design.
• Proactively challenge conventional approaches to improve system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on coding and development experience.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2.
• Mandatory expertise in CICS programming, including CICS Screen Programming.
• Mandatory experience coding in MQ Series and IMS DB.
• Proficiency with version control systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and maintaining new test regions.
• Knowledge of banking compliance and regulatory platforms.
