Description
You will develop and maintain enterprise-wide mainframe applications. This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using COBOL.
- Manage jobs and datasets using JCL and VSAM.
- Interact with databases using DB2.
- Operate and manage applications within the CICS environment.
- Apply Agile development methodologies to delivery workflows.
Required Skills
- 8 years of professional experience in mainframe development.
- Expert proficiency in COBOL.
- Strong knowledge of JCL scripting.
- Familiarity with DB2 and VSAM.
- Working knowledge of CICS.
- Experience with MQ messaging.
- Proficiency in problem-solving related to batch processing.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with REXX or SAS scripting.
- Exposure to Cloud environments.
