Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications using COBOL, z/OS, CICS, and IMS on-site in Wilmington, DE.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain COBOL programs for business logic and data processing.
• Develop and support CICS transaction processing applications.
• Manage IMS database interactions, including IMS/DB and IMS/DC concepts.
• Author and manage JCL scripts for batch job scheduling and execution.
• Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks, including dataset management and security.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating system environments.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL for batch processing.
• 5+ years of relevant mainframe development experience.
• Any Graduate degree.
