Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise-wide applications on the mainframe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify applications using COBOL.
• Manage jobs and processes using JCL.
• Interface with systems using MQ and DB2.
• Work extensively within the CICS and VSAM environments.
• Apply Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Mainframe development.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL.
• Strong working knowledge of JCL.
• Experience with MQ messaging.
• Proficiency in DB2 and VSAM.
• Familiarity with CICS environments.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REXX or SAS.
• Exposure to Cloud environments.
• Experience with batch processing.
