Description

You will own the development and maintenance of core mainframe systems on z/OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL on z/OS.
• Write and manage complex JCL scripts for batch job processing.
• Implement and troubleshoot transaction processing using CICS functionalities.
• Manage IMS database concepts, including IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks, such as data set management and security oversight.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Mainframe development.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB, IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Familiarity with IBM mainframe environments.
