Description

You will develop and maintain critical systems on the mainframe platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using COBOL.
• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Implement and maintain transaction processing using CICS functionalities.
• Manage data using IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC).
• Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks, including dataset management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS mainframe operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration (dataset management, security).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe security protocols.
