Description

You will own mainframe development and maintenance tasks for enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL.
• Manage data access and processing via DB2 and VSAM.
• Process transactions using MQ and interact with system job control (JCL).
• Apply SDLC principles within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expert knowledge of CICS.
• Proficiency with MQ messaging.
• Strong command of COBOL programming.
• Experience with JCL scripting.
• Working knowledge of DB2 and VSAM.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REXX or SAS.
• Exposure to Cloud environments or Batch Processing.
