Description

You will develop and maintain IBM-Z/OS applications using agile methodologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and IMS DB/DC.
• Manage data structures and files using DB2 and VSAM.
• Execute and automate batch processes using JCL and CA7.
• Implement messaging solutions via IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Maintain application integrity through Changeman or Endevor suites.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Expertise in IBM-Z/OS COBOL and CICS.
• Proficiency with IMS DB/DC, DB2, and VSAM.
• Strong command of JCL and CA7.
• Hands-on experience with Changeman or Endevor.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS, cloud technologies, or Java.
• Familiarity with banking or credit card domains and modern front-end technologies.
