Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe application components using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessments for enhancements, defect fixes, modernization, and regulatory changes.
• Analyze, code, unit test, and document batch programs, online transactions, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects.
• Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) through defect fixes and data validation.
• Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, release planning, and operational readiness activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Mainframe Enterprise COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in DB2 and VSAM.
• Experience with CICS and batch processing.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI applications within mainframe environments.
• Ability to ensure alignment with coding, security, and architectural standards.
• Experience in full lifecycle development including unit testing and documentation.
