Description

You will lead the modernization and retirement of core mainframe applications onto AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of legacy COBOL and DB2 applications to AWS cloud services.
• Ensure data sets and structures adhere to architecture standards during migration.
• Write and integrate data into the DSVDS analytic database.
• Collaborate with the Data Modernization team on data pipeline integration.
• Retire legacy system components, including stored procedures, service requests, tables, and batch jobs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in mainframe development and migration.
• Proficiency in COBOL and DB2.
• Strong experience with SQL and JCL.
• Experience with Control-M, Endevor, BFC, and Smart TS.
• Familiarity with AWS services: S3, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Glue.
• Experience managing complex migration and retirement tasks.
