Description

Develop and support mainframe applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes to meet technical specifications.
• Gather and analyze requirements to translate them into actionable technical designs.
• Execute unit test scenarios to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Implement and support changes through the entire deployment lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Hands-on proficiency with COBOL.
• Experience with JCL and VSAM.
• Strong working knowledge of Db2 and Mainframe Utilities.
• Experience with CICS.
• Ability to manage all lifecycle components including coding, testing, and deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Payments or Cards domain.
