Description
You will develop and maintain applications using Mainframe technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Mainframe technologies including DB2, COBOL, and JCL.
- Design and implement DB2 stored procedures and native SQL queries.
- Work on batch processing and MQ integration tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development and modernization.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure application reliability.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies.
- Strong expertise in DB2, COBOL, and JCL.
- Proficiency in designing DB2 Stored Procedures and native SQL queries.
- Experience with Batch Processing and MQ integration.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Unix Scripting and distributed applications.
- Experience with Python.
