Description

You will drive mainframe modernization and legacy migration efforts using a mix of legacy and modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for mainframe modernization and large-scale legacy migrations.
• Execute migrations across on-premise environments, Azure cloud, and Microfocus.
• Develop automation tools and problem statements using Python.
• Design team composition strategies for complex migration projects.
• Manage technical transitions within a Legacy Migration Center of Excellence (LMCOE) framework.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Mainframe and Java modernization.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and MQ.
• Proficiency in Java FSD.
• Strong Python skills for automation and development.
• Experience with On-Prem to On-Prem migrations.
• Experience with Cloud migration specifically to Azure.
• Experience with Microfocus migrations.
• Background working within a Legacy Migration Center of Excellence (LMCOE).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
