Description

You will drive legacy migration and modernization efforts, transitioning systems from on-premises environments to Azure or Microfocus.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for mainframe modernization and legacy migration projects.
• Execute migrations between on-premises environments, to Azure cloud, or to Microfocus.
• Develop automation tools using Python to address specific problem statements.
• Support legacy migration lifecycle activities based on LMCOE principles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe and Java modernization.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and MQ.
• Experience with Java FSD.
• Strong Python skills for automation and problem statement development.
• Hands-on experience with On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud to Azure, and Microfocus migrations.
• Background working within a Legacy Migration Center of Excellence (LMCOE).
• Degree in any graduate field.
