You will design and develop complex mainframe and Java-based systems, translating business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed system analysis to design and develop medium to highly complex systems.
• Implement new software systems and correct errors in existing applications.
• Improve system performance through hardware upgrades and code optimization.
• Consult with data managers and customers to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Resolve technical issues and manage computer systems within the business environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in COBOL and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with CICS and MQ.
• Proficiency with FileAid and XML.
• Working knowledge of Java and JSON.
• Experience with AWS and Splunk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data structures and computer systems.
• Ability to work independently to select methodologies and make technical decisions.
