Description

You will own the development and maintenance of mainframe applications, focusing on hands-on coding and transaction processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code using PL/1.
• Manage data structures and transactions using IMS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Execute and manage batch processes through JCL.
• Handle online transaction processing using CICS.
• Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve development issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Mandatory hands-on development experience in PL/1.
• Proficiency with COBOL.
• Experience with CICS.
• Experience with JCL.
• Experience with DB2.
• Experience with VSAM.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IMS.
