Description

You will manage software development and system integrations within mainframe and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement customer-requested integrations and develop software for internal back-end systems.
• Deploy updates, fixes, and perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Provide Level 2 technical support and design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build automation tools and scripts to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
• Contribute to mainframe modernization projects transitioning workloads to the cloud.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or application/systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with PL/I, IMS, JCL, Assembler, and DB2.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (ADF, AKS, APIM, Synapse).
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C, Pulsar, and MQ.
• Mandatory SAFE (Scaled Agile) training or certification.
• Experience with at least one or two Mainframe Modernization projects to Cloud.
• Working knowledge of databases, SQL, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Background in system administration and DevOps engineering.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a team lead managing application lifecycles or projects.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture, Cloud-native, and SaaS implementations.
