Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while integrating them with modern automation and CI/CD pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL/CICS-based mainframe applications.
• Create Python scripts to automate log analysis, job monitoring, and file transfers.
• Automate testing processes for CICS transactions and batch jobs.
• Integrate mainframe workflows into modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and automate batch processing using JCL, REXX, or Control-M.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and CICS.
• Experience writing Python scripts for system automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of debugging tools such as CEDF, Xpediter, or Intertest.
• Experience with scripting languages including JCL and REXX.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Control-M.
