Description

You will maintain and develop core mainframe systems, integrating legacy code with modern cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code using COBOL, Assembler, and PL/I.
• Write and optimize REXX scripts and JCL for batch processing.
• Integrate mainframe workloads with Java applications and cloud platforms.
• Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Manage data operations across DB2, Oracle, and Postgres databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, and PL/I.
• Strong expertise in REXX and JCL.
• Experience with Java development.
• Hands-on work with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with DB2, Oracle, or Postgres databases.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
