Description

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS while ensuring system stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and development standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in IMS DB/TM and IDMS development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with mainframe debugging tools and performance tuning.
• Proven track record of working in a Ford environment.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with Agile practices.
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other mainframe utilities.
