Description

You will maintain and support IBM mainframe environments, ensuring system stability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, configuration, and repair of z/OS and subsystems including CICS, IMS, DB2, TSO, ISPF, JES2, and OMVS.
• Manage ISV products such as BMC and CA to support mainframe operations.
• Remediate incidents reactively and proactively using JCL, Rexx, and COBOL.
• Provide on-call support for critical mainframe issues.
• Prepare technical and non-technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM mainframe environments (MVS or z/OS).
• Expertise in CICS, IMS, DB2, TSO, ISPF, JES2, and OMVS.
• Proficiency in scripting and languages including JCL, Rexx, and COBOL.
• Experience with ISV products such as BMC and CA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-call incident response and remediation.
