Description

Lead SCM migration projects from CA Endevor to DBB, Git, and IDD on z/OS. Own the end-to-end modernization of mainframe development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot DBB, Git, and IDD environments on z/OS.
  • Build and debug mainframe CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, YAML, and Git.
  • Convert and validate Endevor-managed applications during migration.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex DBB/Git/IDD conversion issues.
  • Deliver technical training and documentation for client teams.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years mainframe systems programming or development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in z/OS, JCL, COBOL, and PL/I.
  • Hands-on scripting with Groovy and YAML.
  • Expertise in Git (repos, branching, merges) and pipeline debugging.
  • Proven experience installing and migrating on IBM Z.
  • Ability to analyze and validate Endevor-managed applications.
  • Strong communication skills with customer-facing consulting experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in customer-facing consulting roles.
  • Experience with SCM modernization and mainframe DevOps.
