Description

You will drive modernization and automation initiatives on IBM Z platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for IBM Z environments.
• Install, configure, and migrate IBM z/OS and USS systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Groovy and YAML.
• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
• Troubleshoot and debug pipeline failures and build issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development or system programming on IBM Z.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting and YAML for automation.
• Expertise with Git for source code repositories and branching.
• Proven experience with IBM z/OS and USS installation and migration.
• Knowledge of IBM Z software stack including DBB, COBOL, CICS, PL/I, JCL, VSAM/QSAM, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps products like IDz, DBB, Wazi Deploy, and zD&T.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
