Description

You will support the migration of Mainframe applications to a Git-based SCM while applying DevOps principles to modernize deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of Mainframe applications to Git-based version control systems.
• Troubleshoot migration issues to ensure clean application transitions.
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe environments.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using scripting.
• Document migration steps, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe technology and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and version control management.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, and system administrators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mainframe-based SCM concepts.
