Description

You will modernize Mainframe application deployment by migrating them to git-based version control and implementing DevOps practices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of Mainframe applications to git-based SCM.
• Troubleshoot migration issues for clean transitions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development for Mainframe apps.
• Develop scripts to automate migration and deployment tasks.
• Document migration steps and configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in Mainframe technology and DevOps.
• Proficiency with Git and version control management.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting in Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Programming knowledge in Java.
• Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization projects.
