Description

You will support the migration of Mainframe applications to Git-based version control while modernizing deployment processes through DevOps principles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of Mainframe applications to Git-based SCM.
• Troubleshoot migration issues to ensure clean application transitions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe environments.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using scripting.
• Document migration steps, procedures, and configurations.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe technology and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and version control management.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, and system administrators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mainframe-based SCM concepts.
