Description

You will support the migration of Mainframe applications to git-based SCM while applying DevOps principles to modernize deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in migrating Mainframe applications to git-based version control systems.
• Troubleshoot migration issues to ensure clean application transitions.
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe applications.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate migration tasks and deployment processes.
• Document migration steps, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe technology and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Strong experience with Python or Java.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation.
• Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with developers, testers, and system administrators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Proficiency in Shell or Groovy scripting.
