Description

You will modernize Mainframe application deployments by migrating code to Git-based version control and implementing DevOps automation pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Mainframe applications to git-based source control systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe workloads.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline migration and deployment tasks.
• Troubleshoot migration issues to ensure clean transitions.
• Document migration procedures and configurations for team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe technology.
• Strong proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Development experience with Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and automation.
• Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication for collaborating with developers and system administrators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Proficiency in Shell or Groovy scripting.
