Description

You will lead the migration of mainframe development environments from CA Endevor to modern DevOps workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DevOps solutions for CA Endevor to DevOps migration using OpenShift and cloud platforms.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using UrbanCode Deploy, DBB, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Groovy.
• Lead Endevor-to-DevOps migration projects by implementing scalable, automated solutions.
• Develop and maintain build scripts using Groovy to streamline application packaging and deployment.
• Analyze system architectures to solve complex issues and design scalable DevOps solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Architect or DevOps Engineer in Mainframe and DevOps environments.
• Advanced proficiency in CA Endevor and Mainframe development environments.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (OCP).
• Advanced expertise in CI/CD tools including UCD, DBB, Jenkins, and Git.
• Strong automation and scripting skills using Groovy, Ansible, and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Private Cloud.
• Proven track record of leading Endevor-to-DevOps migration projects.

Preferred Skills

• Microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
• Performance optimization, monitoring, and security/compliance in DevOps.
