Description

You will modernize mainframe software lifecycle processes by transitioning manual workflows into modern CI/CD pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and troubleshoot mainframe build and deployment processes.
• Modernize existing mainframe build and deployment methodologies.
• Administer software lifecycle tools including ChangeMan ZMF.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 on-call support for build and deployment processes.
• Document mainframe processes and support internal or external audits.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Management of mainframe z/OS and USS systems.
• Administration of ChangeMan ZMF and ChangeMan ZMF Client Pack.
• Proficiency in IBM High Level Assembler, Enterprise COBOL, REXX, JCL, and ISPF Dialog.
• Hands-on experience with CICS, Db2, SQL, and SDSF.
• Experience developing and building mainframe software.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB), IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD), or IBM IDz.
• Knowledge of RocketGit and Agile Software Development Methodologies.
• Understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation.
