Description

You will drive the integration of DevOps practices into Mainframe environments, focusing on migration, automation, and CI/CD pipeline optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Support Mainframe application migration to git-based SCM by troubleshooting migration issues.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Shell, Python, Groovy) to automate Mainframe migration tasks.
• Contribute to developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for Mainframe applications using orchestration tools.
• Document migration steps, processes, and configurations for deliverables and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams, including developers and system administrators, during migration and pipeline implementation.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Mainframe technology and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Java, Shell, and Groovy.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
