Description

Lead and execute SCM migration projects from CA Endevor to DBB, Git, and IDD on z/OS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize DBB, Git, and IDD environments.
• Analyze, convert, and validate applications managed by Endevor.
• Build and debug mainframe CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, YAML, Git, and DBB.
• Work hands-on with z/OS, JCL, COBOL, PL/I, and VSAM/QSAM during migrations.
• Deliver training sessions and create technical documentation for clients.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of mainframe systems programming or development experience.
• Strong z/OS and mainframe development background.
• Proven installation, migration, and troubleshooting experience on IBM Z.
• Hands-on scripting ability with Groovy and YAML.
• Strong Git expertise, including repos, branching, and merges, plus pipeline debugging skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve DBB, Git, and IDD conversion issues.
• Experience with mainframe DevOps or SCM modernization.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.
