Description

You will own the mainframe DevOps pipeline, modernizing legacy z/OS environments through CI/CD integration and automated release management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Broadcom Endevor and execute migration activities to Git-based repositories.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD processes for mainframe builds.
• Script automation using REXX, Groovy, YAML, and Shell (USS/Linux).
• Manage source code and release management across COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Troubleshoot complex z/OS integration issues and optimize build efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of mainframe development, DevOps, or modernization experience.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and TSO/ISPF.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB) and IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz).
• Proficient in REXX and Groovy scripting.
• Deep understanding of USS (Unix System Services) and z/OS environments.
• Proven track record in SCM and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Endevor to Git migration and IBM Dependency Discovery (IDD).
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or UrbanCode Deploy.
